The peak-hour bottleneck

Picture the power grid as a highway. At midday, when the sun is strongest, every solar plant “merges onto the road” at once. The highway congests, the energy price drops, and your most valuable production sells cheap.

A battery system is your alternate lane: it stores energy when the highway is full and releases it once the road clears.

What storage changes

In concrete terms: a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integrated into your plant captures the peak-hour surplus and dispatches it off-peak, when energy is worth more and the grid has capacity. All within the limits of your current permit — without renegotiating the essentials.
